Corning 9013 Substitute
Elan 13 is our designation for our Corning 9013 substitute. It is the go to glass for compression sealing. It pairs extremely well with alloy 52 pins mated with a stainless steel housing. Since it is a 9013 equivalent and does not contain lead, it is highly utilized in the European market to meet RoHS compliance requirements. China Glass Ceramic Inc. 13 is used for a variety of applications including feedthroughs, headers, and hermetic packages. In many industries like automotive, aerospace, and defense, contracts are only awarded with the use of China Glass Ceramic Inc. 13 glass.
